Lisa Lucas will become the Executive Director of the National Book Foundation in Mid-March, taking over for Harold Augenbraum. She is the Publisher of Guernica magazine and a nonfiction co-chair for the Brooklyn Book Festival.

Mary Ann Naples will become VP, Publisher at Disney Book Group in Mid-March. She was previously SVP, Publisher at Rodale Books. Meanwhile, Gail Gonzales will be promoted to VP, Publisher at Rodale.

Diane Blough was named Director, Category Marketing at Random House Children’s. She was most recently an Independent Marketing Consultant. Rachel Bader joined Random House Children’s as Director of Licensing She was previously Director of Licensing at Prometheus Global Media.

Donald Roseman joined Ingram as VP, Retail. He was previously General Manger and SVP, Sales and Business Development at Goodbaby International Holdings.

At agencies, Jessica Woollard joined David Higham Associates as Agent. She was previously Agent at the March Agency. . . Starting in March, Marianne Merola will be Translation Rights Representative for the Joy Harris Literary Agency, in addition to her current responsibilities as Foreign Rights Director at Brandt & Hochman.

Amy Jarashow is now Licensing Director, North America at Parragon and Wild & Wolf. She was Head of Business Development at IQ License.

Robert Spizer is now Subrights Manager at Diversion Books He was previously Group Director, Domestic Rights at HarperCollins.

Sarah Janet has joined Open Road Integrated Media as a Marketing Manager. Most recently she was a copywriter at Scholastic, and a Marketing Manager at Penguin.

Chris Evans joined Skyhorse as Senior Editor. He was most recently at Stackpole. Additionally, Lauren Jackson is now Senior Publicist. She was previously Publicist at William Morrow.

At Penguin Random House, Greg Kubie was promoted to Assistant Director of Publicity.  Sarah Fabiny was promoted to Editorial Director of Grosset & Dunlap, PSS, Cartoon Network Books, and Warne. Cristi Navarro is now National Accounts Director for Penguin Young Readers Group. At Random House, Barbara Fillon and London King were promoted to VP, Deputy Directors at Random House. Additionally, Maria Braeckel and Jennifer Garza were promoted to Associate Directors of Publicity and Andrea Walker and Noah Eaker to Executive Editors. Jessica Sindler moved to Dey Street Books as Senior Editor. She was previously at Spiegel & Grau.

At HarperCollins Children’s, Nellie Kurtzman to VP, Marketing and Cindy Hamilton was promoted to Senior Director, Publicity.

Russ Grandinetti, SVP at Amazon, will become Head of Consumer Business at Kindle for the next two years while the current Head of Consumer Business, Diego Piacentini, is on leave to run the Italian Prime Minister’s Digital Technology office.

Wes Miller will move over to Grand Central as Senior Editor on March 14, focusing on thrillers. He spent the past five years as an editor at Mulholland.

Brian Juenemann, Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association Marketing Director for the past 10 years, will take over as Executive Director of the organization on March 1, when Tom Chambliss retires.

Catherine DeVries was promoted to Publisher, Children’s Resources at David C Cook.

The Independent Book Publishers Association promoted Angela Bole to CEO.

Jade Roth is now CEO at Flat World Education.

Molly Atlas was promoted to Agent at ICM.

CBS Executive Chairman Sumner Redstone resigned and was named Chairman Emeritus. CEO Leslie Moonves will take on the additional role of Chairman of the Board.

Quarto Publishing Group USA acquired the Harvard Common Press, which will now become an imprint within the company.

Simon & Schuster launched a YA fan website called Riveted.
