Do book clubs ever buy POD books like my forthcoming title being published by BookLocker

Bridge Table or What's Trump Anyway?
An Affectionate Look Back at Sociable Bridge & Ladies Lunch

It's a unique topic, I've self-published before and earned reviews in Booklist and Library Journal and will be attempting that with this book as soon as I get Review Copies to send out. My earlier book was then picked up by Facts on File.

Why am I going POD if I can write a book acceptable to mainline publishing? I'm 89 and it takes too damned long the other way. Besides I LIKE and ENJOY this part of doing it all on my own.
